My Favorite Book Series EVER!
My favorite book series is Dear America.
Recently I finished The Fences Between Us.
This is an incredible book based on courage, survival, and family.

When Piper Davis' brother enlists in the military, she is devastated. Stationed in Pearl Harbor in 1941, you can imagine his fate.
Or can you?
When he survived, he sent a letter to his family and quickly shipped out again. Piper's father, who is a minister, uproots her from all her friends in Seattle, WA, and takes her to a Japanese incarceration camp. Here Piper helps her Japanese friend and her brother through tough times.
Piper learns to not only think about herself, but also care for and help other people.
